Dr. Mushtaque Ahmad has practiced homoeopathy in Azamgarh for over 6 years, with a particular focus on chronic kidney disease and other kidney-related disorders. Alongside his core homoeopathic qualifications, he holds an Advanced Certificate in Nephrology (ACN). He describes his approach as looking at the whole person and their history — not just today's symptoms.

His body of work spans ghazals as well as writing on everyday Indian life and society.
